The Empire's Guardian Knight, he's actually the true master of the Alchemists' Bell Tower and also a lich who has lived for hundreds of years. He followed White Star because of his immortality even though White Star wouldn't hesitate to leave him behind if he's becoming nothing but a burden. He was killed by Hannah using the condemnation of the sun with the help of Mary binding him in the battle at the Alchemists' Bell Tower.[1]

A long time ago, he had been asked by the Queen of Death—the last necromancer for him to join her so that a black mage like him can find a way to peacefully coexist with the world without any prejudices.
The lich, of course, scoffed at the old necromancer's naivety because he had seen she wasted many years trying to coexist with humans when they would still prejudice against her. She died under the hands of humans without ever achieving her dream. Her death marked the day the desert in Caro Kingdom became known as the Land of Death.[2]
